If you’re a fan of swimming, dancing and music, then you will love the Aquabelles. They’re a group of talented ladies who do synchronized swimming. That means they swim and dance together in the water in harmony, making beautiful shapes and patterns with their bodies. They wear colorful costumes and hats, and their goal is to smile and have fun with the audience.
The Aquabelles have a long history. They started in 1979 and have performed in many places since then and have won many awards for their skills and creativity. That’s because they’re very talented and amazing.
However, last year, they had to stop because of the government lockdowns. They could not swim or practice together due to the health restrictions. They also couldn’t perform for anyone because of the social distancing guidelines.
But now, they are back! They are ready to show their skills again after a long break. The Aquabelles have a new event coming up in September called: “Aquabelles on Broadway”. In this event, they will swim and dance to songs from famous musicals in order to make you feel like you are in New York City watching a Broadway show.
In addition, they have five new members who are excited to join the Aquabelles. They have learned a lot from the older members who have mentored them and practiced hard to be ready for the show.
The Aquabelles invite you to come and watch them perform. The event is on September 18 and 19 at the Quail Creek Pool. It starts at 2 p.m. each day. The tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. You can buy them at the door or online.
Don’t miss this chance to see the Aquabelles in action. They’ll amaze and amuse you with their performance… and maybe they will make you want to join them too.
