The police were called to East Davis Road in East Sahuarita because there was a big fire that destroyed at least one building. They weren’t sure if it was one big house or two smaller ones that got burned, but they thought something nefarious might have caused the fire.

No one was living in the building, and luckily, nobody got hurt while they were trying to stop the fire. It started just before 5 p.m. and firefighters from Rural/Metro and Green Valley Fire District came to help.

There was a goat tied up there, but they saved it from the fire.

This place is not technically in the Town of Sahuarita but is still considered “East Sahuarita”.

On the other side of a different trailer, one or two homes caught fire and sustained enough damage to be considered “destroyed” on Thursday night in East Sahuarita. Police are asking for anyone who may have relevant information about the case to give them a call and make a report.
