Amado’s Lucky 13th Annual Chili Cook-off

Come on down to the Lucky 13th Annual Amado Chili Cook-off and Randy and Rose Estes Classic Car & Motorcycle Show this Saturday! If you’d rather steer clear of the cyclists in El Tour passing through Green Valley, this event in Amado might be just the thing for you.

Happening at the Amado Territory on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon, this fun event has lots to offer. They’ll be serving delicious chili from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. so you won’t want to miss that!

It’s a great event for families! You can park all day for $5 and get a $5 wristband to taste all the yummy chili you want. There will be 15 chili cooks competing, including four students from culinary school. They’ll be trying to win trophies and cash prizes along with cooks from restaurants and other groups in Southern Arizona.

Besides the chili cook-off, there will be live music playing all day long, 40 vendors selling holiday stuff, and a contest with 60 cool cars, trucks, and motorcycles competing for prizes.

This event is also for a good cause! It’s helping the new Amado Youth Center, which just opened on October 21st. So, by having fun, you’re also supporting something great for the community!
